In 2021 the Urbana Park District contracted Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide operational audit services to review how the Park District provides maintenance services to its aquatic centers.
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the district's current operations and provide recommendations for improving efficiency, procedures, and training. Counsilman-Hunsaker conducted a thorough review of the Park Districts’ policies, procedures, and practices related to maintenance and custodial services as they pertain to the aquatic centers.
Based on their findings, Counsilman-Hunsaker developed a comprehensive report that identifies opportunities for improvement and provides actionable recommendations related to procedures, training, and staff efficiencies.
