Club Westside originally opened as a private tennis club hosting a variety of tennis tournaments and events. The club consisted of 46 courts in total, including 10 indoors with a capacity of 5,240 spectators.

In December 2006, club management undertook an evolution of the fundamental offerings of the club in order to expand the membership base.  Since that time, Club Westside has grown into an all-around sports and family club now offering fitness, aquatics, and a variety of sports in addition to tennis.  Aquatic amenities include a 25-meter lap pool, a resort-style family pool, a private adult pool, and the most recent addition to the expansive club: a stunning 4-acre resort style lazy river waterpark experience.  The waterpark was completed as a design/build project with aquatic design and engineering by Counsilman-Hunsaker in support of Progressive Commercial Aquatics, Inc., who constructed the pools.
