In January 2017, Counsilman-Hunsaker conducted a facility audit of the Coronado Aquatic Center. Conditions were evaluated, and interviews were conducted with personnel familiar with the construction and operation of the facility. Field notes, meeting minutes, and photographs were utilized to prepare assessments, preliminary recommendations, and opinions to complete the scope of services outlined in the agreement between the City of Coronado and Westberg+White. The list summarized modification priorities divided into categories of immediate items, short-term items (0 - 5 year), as-needed items (5 - 10 year), and optional items.
Pleased with the results from the audit, Counsilman-Hunsaker completed design documents for new chemical controllers, new VFDs, new filter interface panels, and a new flowmeter.
