Kootenai Wellness Aquatic Center (Study)

In May of 2019, Counsilman-Hunsaker was retained by the Libby Park District to complete a feasibility study for the Kootenai Wellness Aquatic Center. Previously in 2018, a survey conducted by the Park District concluded that 96% of those surveyed would support a public pool to meet the needs of the community, and several preliminary design discussions were conducted before Counsilman-Hunsaker was hired. Throughout the process, Counsilman-Hunsaker participated in multiple community input meetings and gathered information from the community and stakeholder groups. The final report outlined two final options for consideration, including revenue and expense analyses for both.
