The Waterbury YMCA commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide an audit of their existing indoor lap pool, instructional pool, and spa. The audit focused on evaluating the existing facility including the structures, finishes, equipment, mechanical and chemical treatment systems, and to report any areas that were substandard in preparation for upcoming repairs.
The audit identified potential concerns, items that do not satisfy the current administrative code, items not to current aquatic industry design standards, or equipment not operating as designed. In addition, Counsilman-Hunsaker provided an opinion of probable construction costs for the recommendations identified within the report.
