The City of Mountain View commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide a swimming pool audit of the pool mechanical rooms for two outdoor aquatic centers located at Rengstorff Park and Eagle Park. The purpose of the swimming pool audit was to identify items in the pool mechanical systems that were substandard, identify items that did not meet current swimming pool code or current industry swimming pool design standards, and identify pool mechanical room equipment that needed immediate replacement.
Based on the results of the audit, the city once again retained Counsilman-Hunsaker for the renovation of the Eagle Park and Rengstorff’s Park swimming pools’ mechanical rooms. Renovation consists of all new pool equipment, filtration, and chemical treatment systems at each facility. Each pool was updated with the latest in environmentally friendly aquatic technologies to minimize the pools’ energy consumption.
