University of Mary Washington (Audit)

Counsilman-Hunsaker will conduct a comprehensive swimming pool audit at the Goolrick Hall Pool, located at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. The Lap Pool, originally designed in January 1967 and constructed in the following years, underwent significant updates between 2018 and 2019. These updates included renovations to the pool filtration, chemical treatment systems, associated piping, and the replacement of the natatorium dehumidification system. Based on the findings, recommended improvements include the replacement of the pool's main drain, updates to the tile finishes, and enhancements to ensure compliance with ADA accessibility standards.
