In January of 2015, RSA Engineering commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to provide a swimming pool audit of the Valdez High School pool. The audit assisted in identifying items that were substandard or not operating as designed and summarized them with a prioritization of cost.
In response to the audit, RSA Engineering commissioned Counsilman-Hunsaker to design a complete renovation of the existing swimming pool mechanical room. This included new pumps, filters, piping, chemical treatment systems, and UV secondary sanitation systems for both bodies of water. The mechanical room renovation was completed in the fall of 2016.
