Hailing from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Daniel moved to Florida during the latter half of high school. After graduation, he went to Purdue University where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is now working toward his master's degree in Engineering Management while gaining industry experience at Counsilman-Hunsaker.
Having swam competitively and taught in the Learn to Swim program at Purdue, Counsilman-Hunsaker allows him to combine his passion for the sport and engineering. Daniel is certified by the American Red Cross as a Water Safety Instructor and desires to become a Professional Engineer.
