Heather Brands joined the Counsilman-Hunsaker team in 2022 as a Project Manager for the Operations team, and brings over 18 years of aquatics experience. Heather has a distinguished aquatic background in areas of programming, training, management, and operations. Working in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, she has significant expertise in the best customer experience practices, marketing, and facility management.
As a member of the CHAMP (Counsilman-Hunsaker Aquatic Management Program℠) team, Heather maintains her American Red Cross certifications as a Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, Water Safety Instructor Trainer, and Lifeguard Instructor Trainer. She is also a PHTA Certified Pool-Spa Operator (CPO) and Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP).
Heather lives in Austin, TX, with her fur family. She spends her weekends outdoors enjoying the Greenbelt, local State Parks, downtown coffee shops, and local music venues, to name a few. She is beyond thrilled to work with everyone at Counsilman-Hunsaker to learn more about aquatic design and the CHAMP Team to help more pools be safer and more sustainable.
