Billy is a graduate of Washington University in St Louis where he received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture while competing as a member of the Men’s Varsity Swimming Team. After completing a Master of Architecture program at the University of Michigan, Billy returned to his hometown of Dallas and spent the first six years of his career with Corgan, focusing on the design of data centers. Billy joined Counsilman-Hunsaker in 2020 as Project Director, where he leverages his architectural expertise and personal experiences as a former swimmer to design world-class aquatic facilities across the country. Billy is thrilled to be blending his two life-long passions into a career in aquatic design and sharing his excitement of aquatics with the communities he works with.
Billy is a licensed architect with the State of Texas since 2016 and a member of the AIA. In his spare time, Billy can be found playing with his dogs, traveling with his wife and son, cheering on the Wolverines, or enjoying an espresso and a good book.
