George joined Counsilman-Hunsaker in 2014 after spending 18 years in municipal aquatic operations where he managed aquatic centers and oversaw programs at both indoor and outdoor facilities. As a studio director of feasibility studies, he specializes in helping municipalities, universities, school districts, private swim clubs and non-profit providers determine the best approach and the capital and operational implications for providing aquatic facilities, amenities, experiences and programs for their communities.
George has used this experience to speak on a variety of topics related to aquatics at national conferences such as the Association of Aquatic Professionals, Athletic Business, the National Recreation and Park Association, NIRSA and the World Waterpark Association, and has spoken at parks and recreation and aquatics conferences in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
