Robert graduated Cum Laude in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, along with a minor in Computer Graphic Technology, from Purdue University. After graduation, Robert spent over five years in the aerospace industry working as a Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman and a Propulsion Systems Engineer at United Launch Alliance. He supported military aircraft design and contributed to the upper stage of the Vulcan Centaur launch system, which successfully launched on January 8th, 2024.

A passionate swimmer from a young age, Robert began competing at 9 and continued throughout his time at Purdue, where he was a member of the varsity swim team. His dedication to the sport fostered lasting relationships and a deeper connection to the aquatic community.

In February 2022, Robert joined Counsilman-Hunsaker as a Project Engineer, bringing his engineering expertise and a strong passion for aquatics to the company. Since then, Robert has been key in delivering innovative, sustainable aquatic design and engineering solutions. His ability to bridge technical knowledge with a deep understanding of the human experience has made him an invaluable asset to the company’s mission of creating transformative aquatic environments. Robert’s dedication to the company’s core values, including Aquatics, Quality, Relationships, and Innovation, has driven the success of various projects. His work on the Timberline Lodge project was recently featured in the Athletic Business Aquatic Design Portfolio.
