Robert graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a minor in Computer Graphic Technology in 2016 from Purdue University. Following graduation, he worked for five years in the aerospace industry as a Design Engineer for Northrop Grumman supporting military aircraft design and as a Propulsion Systems Engineer for United Launch Alliance supporting the upper stage of the Vulcan Centaur launch system.
Robert began swimming at a young age to an admittedly lukewarm reception. He did not find his passion for the sport until he joined the local neighborhood summer swim team at the age of 9 and began to swim competitively. He continued swimming throughout his time at Purdue as a member of the varsity swim team. During his swimming career, he developed relationships and traveled around the country which further strengthened his passion for the sport.
Robert joined Cousilman-Hunsaker in February of 2022. As a Project Engineer, he provides mechanical design for aquatic projects at Counsilman-Hunsaker and brings his passion for design and swimming to the aquatic industry.
